delhi cm arvind kejriwal has approved the proposal to declare a public holiday from september 8 to 10 in Delhi

in view of the G20 Summit. This decision has been taken regarding organizing the G-20 summit in Delhi. All

schools, government offices including MCD offices will remain closed on these dates.

Explain that, in view of the security, the delhi police has asked the Chief Secretary of delhi to declare a public

holiday from september 8 to 10 for the G-20 Summit in New delhi and commercial and business establishments

in 'controlled areas'. Requested to order closure.

Traffic route diversion at the G20

Apart from this, delhi Traffic police spoke to ABP news regarding the G20 event. Special Commissioner of

police S. S. Yadav said, 'Keep patience, keeping in mind the facilities of the people of delhi, the event was

completed with better arrangements. Especially in New delhi, there will be strictness regarding traffic

arrangements in the airport route. Less strictness will be kept on other routes. This is a proud moment for Delhi

police, we have successfully completed many such programs earlier also. Apart from this, the Special

Commissioner of police appealed not to pay heed to any kind of misleading news. In a few days, special

guidelines based on traffic route diversion will also be issued regarding the program to be organized in Delhi.

How is the format of G20?

The G20 includes countries that account for two-thirds of the world's population. About 75 percent share of world

trade is also with these countries. Not only this, if we talk about global GDP, the share of these countries in it is

85 percent. After the 2007 crisis, the G20 was elevated to the level of Heads of State and government and was

renamed the premier forum for international economic cooperation.
