Environment minister Gopal Rai has written a letter in the kejriwal government (Arvind Kejriwal) to seek

cooperation from the Center and neighboring states in controlling the threat of air pollution in delhi amid the

onset of winter. Gopal Rai has written this letter to Union Environment minister Bhupendra Yadav. In his

letter, he has said that according to a report, only 31 percent of the pollution in delhi is due to local factors.

The remaining 69 percent air pollution is caused by Haryana, UP, punjab and Rajasthan.

Now delhi Bharatiya Janata party President Virendra Sachdeva has hit back at his letter. He has termed

Gopal Rai's letter as proof of the insensitivity of cm arvind kejriwal government. He has written in his post

that the issue of pollution has been there in delhi for a long time. Till now the delhi government has not

paid attention to this issue. After the meeting was pending for a long time, the meeting of delhi Pollution

Control Committee has been called by the delhi government today. That too after opposition from BJP. The

kejriwal government's lax attitude towards a serious issue like air pollution is another proof of criminal

negligence.
