Reportedly the bjp led Mohan Yadav government of madhya pradesh has given strict guidelines to the officials to eliminate pollution of rivers. In this sequence, madhya pradesh government has geared up to control the industries and factories causing water pollution. For this, the government has prepared a new plan. The state government is going to give officers the right to take action against the operators of industrial factories that contaminate water. It is being told that the state government will send a proposal in this regard to the central government. After this proposal gets approval from the Central government, the officers will have the right to take legal action. In a meeting chaired by chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on tuesday (January 23), the proposal to give authority to officers to take action against water polluting factories was given green signal.
Hence according to Urban Administration and Development minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, the state government has decided to send the proposal to the Center for approval to amend the Water pollution Prevention Act. Let us tell you that till now small cases regarding water pollution go to court. Earlier, on Makar Sankranti, chief minister Mohan Yadav had asked the district collectors of two districts of the state, indore and Ujjain, to take strict steps to stop water pollution in the Kshipra river.
In this order, cm Yadav said that strict action will be taken against those factories which leak chemicals into the river. After which the indore Collector cut off the electricity of 9 factories on january 10, while giving instructions to take action against these industrial companies, it was said that they were not following the guidelines of the government and were illegally operating the factories by ignoring the rules. Poisonous and contaminated water is flowing into the river.
