The high court had given the order on July 28, 2016, after which the cbi had registered a case under sections 120B, 379, 384, 420, 511 against DM Hamirpur, Geologist, Mining Officer, Clerk, Lease holder and private and unknown people.
On january 5, 2019, cbi had raided 12 places and a lot of cash and gold was recovered. In this case, cbi has called Akhilesh as a witness under CrPC 160 on 29th February. cbi is investigating the matter of fresh lease and renewal of mining land.
