Attendants of visually impaired people in punjab can now avail free bus travel. Officials gave this information on Thursday. The official statement said that with this decision of the punjab government, the long-standing demand of the visually impaired community has been fulfilled. The statement said that this decision reflects the government's commitment to help the disabled.

Let us tell you that this announcement was made after a meeting between Finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Social Security, women and Child Development minister Dr. Baljit Kaur. Special Chief Secretary Social Security, women and Child Development Raji P. Shrivastava, director of women and Child Development Department Dr. Shena Aggarwal, Principal Secretary Finance Ajoy Kumar Sinha, Deputy director Amarjit Singh Bhullar and Special Secretary Vimmi Bhullar were also present in this meeting.

The government had taken a big decision in the interest of the students

Earlier, the aam aadmi party government of punjab had also taken a big decision in the interest of the students. It was announced by the punjab government that the government will provide free coaching for medical, engineering, law and entrance exams. This decision was taken by the government immediately after the end of the code of conduct for the lok sabha elections. According to the decision, free residential coaching is being provided for competitive exams like JEE/NEET and CLAT. In which 800 children from 23 districts can participate.

Apart from this, a big decision was also taken by the punjab government in favor of irregular teachers. The government has announced permanent jobs for 14,239 teachers of the state. Along with this, a decision has also been taken to make new recruitments in the health department. Under which 1,880 doctors and nurses will be recruited in the state. This big decision was taken by the government during the cabinet meeting on Saturday.
