The Israeli army has again announced to start a new ground military operation on a large scale in Gaza. Meanwhile, the United Nations has warned that if more aid does not reach the war-torn areas of Gaza, 14,000 children may die in the next 48 hours. israel has now allowed only limited aid to be sent to the Palestinian territory after 11 weeks of complete blockade.

Very little aid reached Gaza - United Nations

According to the BBC report, UN humanitarian aid chief tom Fletcher said that five trucks of aid were sent to Gaza on monday (May 19, 2025), which is very less according to the population here. He said that the aid has not yet reached the needy communities.

The IDF has issued orders to evacuate Khan Younis and surrounding areas in southern Gaza. Palestinians have been asked to leave the area immediately.
