Rahul gandhi On Operation Sindoor

 Leader of Opposition in lok sabha and congress mp Rahul gandhi on thursday (May 22, 2025) cited a comment by prime minister Narendra Modi regarding stopping Operation Sindoor and alleged that he has compromised India's honor. He asked why the prime minister believed what pakistan said.


Congress mp Rahul gandhi shared a part of the video of prime minister Modi's recent address to the nation on X, in which Modi said that during the dialogue at the level of director General of Military Operations (DGMO), pakistan assured that there will be no further terrorist activity and military audacity from its side, after which india also considered its statement.


'Stop giving empty speeches'

Congress leader Rahul gandhi said, "Modi Ji, stop giving empty speeches. Just tell us why you believe pakistan is on terrorism. Why did you sacrifice India's interests by bowing down to Trump and why does your blood boil only in front of cameras?" He has accused Prime Minister

The congress party targeted PM Modi over the ceasefire after Operation Sindoor. The party posted on Twitter, "The army fought with full force... victory was just two steps away, but when the opportunity came... it should not have stopped suddenly." congress leader supriya Shrinet, referring to the ceasefire, said, "Modi ji's blood heats up only in front of the camera. It cools down in front of America."


PM is silent on Trump's claims- Jairam Ramesh

US President Trump has once again claimed that he has resolved the recent military tension between india and pakistan through a trade agreement. He made this claim during his meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the white house on wednesday (May 21, 2025). On this, congress General Secretary jairam ramesh said, "Our prime minister is completely silent on these claims being made repeatedly by his close friend. External Affairs minister Jaishankar is also completely silent on the statements made by his friend, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio."
