TVK Chief Coordinator Sengottaiyan stated confidently that actor-turned-politician Vijay will become the chief minister of tamil Nadu in 2026.

He asserted that “no force can defeat people’s power,” indicating that public support will drive Vijay’s victory.

These remarks were made during a press interaction at coimbatore airport.

🔹 People’s Support as the Driving Force

Sengottaiyan emphasized that Vijay’s rise to the cm post is inevitable because the masses stand behind him.

He claimed that the 2026 assembly elections will mark a change led by people’s will rather than political influence or alliances.

TVK believes the public sees Vijay as a leader capable of reforming governance and improving citizen welfare.

🔹 Vijay’s Commitment to Public Service

According to Sengottaiyan, Vijay entered politics with a mission to build a better tamil Nadu.

Vijay is said to have given up an annual income of ₹500 crore from cinema to serve the people full-time.

TVK frames Vijay’s intent as transparent governance, ethical politics, and people-centric leadership.

🔹 Policy Vision of TVK

Sengottaiyan compared TVK’s ideological foundation to MGR’s era of compassionate governance.

He highlighted TVK’s core goals:

Housing for all families

Economic upliftment of common citizens

Improved quality of life, including ensuring people can travel with dignity on two-wheelers

TVK focuses on social equality, financial stability, and respect for every citizen.

🔹 Counter to AIADMK’s Allegations

Sengottaiyan clarified that his earlier criticism of AIADMK was not against the mgr or jayalalithaa administration but against the party’s current leadership.

Responding to Edappadi K Palaniswami’s claim that “people are not behind him,” he countered that he won as mla nine times and helped elect others thrice.

He concluded with a cryptic line: “If someone thinks ‘I’, god will show him ‘He’,” implying that people will decide who holds power.
