Sculptor satya Narayan Pandey and his son prashant Pandey from jaipur together made the idols of ram darbar in Ayodhya. He told that his family has been making idols of Gods for many generations. He told the story of a miracle that happened while making the idol of ram Darbar.
In a conversation with NDTV, prashant Pandey told that he has made idols of many gods. Regarding the ram darbar installed in the ram temple, he said that Sita ram is in a rock in ram darbar, Laxman and Shatrughan are behind. Hanuman ji is sitting in the form of a slave in front and Bharat is also there. He further said that one stone of Sita ram is very unique. We did research to make the idol and found a very old stone.
Miracle happened while making the idol
Sculptor prashant Pandey told that when we were making the idol, father made the hands and chest. After that we were discussing among ourselves about making the idol. During that time, God himself appeared in blue color. His father satya Narayan Pandey said that this is a miracle, a miracle of nature. He said that the idol of Mother Sita in this stone is of white colour, but the idol of Lord Shri ram is of blue colour.
Sculptor prashant Pandey said that when we were making the idol of Lord ram at our place, many peacocks used to come there, monkeys also tried to come. All these are their feelings, which we cannot express in our words. He said that this is the divine play of god which keeps happening with us too.
Which idol was the most difficult?
When the journalist asked which idol was the most difficult in making the idols of Lord ram and his entire family, he replied that we have been making idols of the sanctum sanctorum for 3-4 generations, but the vibrations here, the energy here is quite different. There is a lot of challenge in this and it is also very soft.
On the question of making idols, prashant Pandey's father satya Narayan Pandey said that the artist does this with a lot of devotion and joy and when God sees the devotees, he also becomes very joyful and in this way a blissful form of god is created. This is the miracle of devotion.
