HDL has teamed up with the Wockhardt Foundation to develop a mobile medical treatment centre for the city's poorest residents. The project, which will be operational in the financial year 2021-2022, is being carried out over a three-year period at a cost of Rs 1.05 crore, according to the business. Every year, roughly 25,000 people will profit from the programme. A medical truck containing diagnostic and testing equipment, chemicals, and medicines is also part of the project.

This mobile ambulance, which works throughout chennai and its environs on all other days except Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be staffed by a doctor, pharmacist, and laboratory technician. HCL also intends to expand its corporate social responsibility initiative, which is being implemented in conjunction with the Voghard Foundation to provide basic health care to persons in need in and around Hosur.

Chairman of HCL Ltd. and Managing director of HFCL Ltd. Mahendra Nahatta said: "The goal of this project is to make this service available to the underprivileged and disadvantaged who lack access to basic health care. Our dedication to serving the country is unwavering." "Through this project, the Wockhardt Foundation and HFCL will work together to deliver improved basic health care to the disadvantaged and destitute communities living in and around chennai," stated Dr. R. Shriram, medical director of the Voghard Foundation.
