In 2016, nidhi Singh and her husband Shikhar veer singh made the decision to give up lucrative corporate jobs in favour of opening a samosa store in Bengaluru. They started the business with their money and soon added Rs 80 lakh to create a bigger kitchen. Currently, samosa Singh, their store, sells 30,000 samosas every month for a gross revenue of Rs 45 crore, or around Rs 12 lakh per day.
Although the couple's path has not been simple, it has unquestionably been worthwhile. They sold their apartment and used the money from the sale to rent a factory in Bengaluru when they discovered they needed a bigger kitchen. Currently, they earn more from their samosa business than they ever did from their previous occupations.
In order to pursue his entrepreneurial goal, Shikhar, a Senior Scientist at Biocon with an MTech from Hyderabad, left his position. Nidhi, a business Development Associate at a Gurugram-based pharmaceutical business, also abandoned her job to work alongside her husband in founding samosa Singh.
