Air India's Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane crashed in ahmedabad, gujarat on thursday (June 12). Shortly after taking off from ahmedabad airport in the afternoon, the plane crashed and fell in a residential area of the city. A part of the plane fell on the hostel of BJ Medical college in Meghani nagar area. There were 242 people on board the plane, including two pilots and 10 crew members.

According to AP, all 242 people on board the plane died. Meanwhile, the ahmedabad Police Commissioner has informed that one person survived this accident, whose treatment is going on. The passenger's name is vishwas Kumar Ramesh. There were 169 indian passengers on board the plane. Former gujarat cm vijay rupani also died in the accident.

What was the loss in the plane crash?

After the crash, the plane caught fire. The plane was completely destroyed. 241 people lost their lives. Apart from this, a part of the plane fell on the hostel of BJ Medical college in Meghani nagar area, causing a lot of damage to the building. Medical students also eat lunch in the hostel mess. There are also reports of many students and people being injured. However, there is no official information yet about casualties of students or local people. Former gujarat cm vijay rupani was also on board the plane.

Heavy crowd outside Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad

After the plane crash, many people are wandering in search of their loved ones and for treatment. There is a crowd of relatives of the people injured in the accident outside the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. The relatives are being prevented from going inside. The relatives standing outside the hospital are appealing to the officials to let them go inside. Medical emergency has been declared in ahmedabad Civil Hospital. Private doctors are also reaching the hospital for treatment.
