· Citizens can now update their name, address, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID entirely online — without visiting Aadhaar Seva Kendras or post offices.
· The new system integrates AI-based document verification, allowing instant validation of uploaded proofs such as PAN, electricity bills, or passport copies.
· Users will be able to track update status in real time through the uidai website or the mAadhaar app.
3. 🪪 Easier for Everyone – Especially Senior Citizens & NRIs
· The uidai has simplified authentication for senior citizens, differently-abled users, and NRIs by reducing the number of mandatory physical verifications.
· Face authentication and OTP-based verification can now replace in-person biometric scans for certain updates.
4. 💸 No Hidden Charges
· Basic demographic updates (like name or address changes) done online will remain free of cost for a limited period as part of UIDAI’s wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital drive.
· For more complex updates (like biometric revalidation), a nominal service charge will apply at physical centers.
5. 🧾 Documents You’ll Need

· Utility bills / Rent agreement (for address updates)
· Email or mobile number verification via OTP
