Government's decision is a big blow to Ladki Bahin!

Important news has come out about Ladki Bahin Yojana in Maharashtra. According to the terms of this scheme, it is not possible to avail the benefits of two schemes. Therefore, women who benefit from Namo Shetkari Yojana in the state will now get less installment for Ladki Bahin Yojana. These women will get the remaining amount after the amount of Namo Shetkari Yojana. Ladki Bahin is going to get a big shock during the 10th installment. Actually, after the complaints, the maharashtra government had started the investigation of the beneficiaries, which is now complete.

There will be a reduction in 10 to 15 lakh beneficiaries

If sources are to be believed, it is being said that the government has identified lakhs of beneficiaries, whose amount will be reduced, because these women are already taking advantage of any other government scheme. After scrutiny, the state government has expressed the possibility that there may be a decrease in about 10 to 15 lakh beneficiaries taking advantage of the scheme. Eight lakh women beneficiaries of Namo Shetkari Yojana will get the subsidized installment of Ladli Bahin Yojana. These women will get Rs 500 instead of Rs 1500 from this month. According to the conditions of Ladli Bahin Yojana, women who are taking advantage of one government scheme cannot take advantage of any other government scheme. Under Namo Shetkari Yojana, women get Rs 6,000 per year. Apart from this, the central government provides Rs.

Why will they get Rs 500?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman nidhi Yojana, Rs 6,000 is received, which means that these women are getting twelve thousand rupees per year from the government scheme. Due to this, these women will now get only the remaining six thousand rupees per year under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. This means that women taking advantage of Namo Shetkari Yojana will get Rs 500. The government is cutting the amount of about 8 lakh beneficiaries under the 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana', who were also taking advantage of NSMN (Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi). These women will now get only Rs 500 per month instead of Rs 1500, as they are already receiving ₹ 1000 every month under the NSMN scheme. 2.63 crore applications were received, after the launch of this scheme, the government received a total of 2.63 crore applications. After scrutiny, this number came down to 2.52 crore by february, while in february and March, the amount was transferred to a total of 2.46 crore beneficiaries.
