According to Vastu Shastra, the auspicious place of water is considered to be the northeast. A water tank or water motor or boring should be in the east, North, or Northeast direction.
Wells or tube wells should not be in the south-east, north-west, or south-west angles. For this, the location of the northeast angle is correct. The Overhead tank should be between north and west angles. The bathroom in the east direction is auspicious. Water leaking from the fixture in the restroom, kitchen, or any other place in the house is considered as inauspicious.
