Following the repeal of the Thugs Act, the chennai High court has ordered the Cyber Crime police to respond to a petition filed by babji madan seeking bail. babji madan vanished in june of last year after the federal criminal cybercrime section filed a case against him, alleging that he harmed children and teenagers by playing online games that included vulgar language. babji madan was detained in Dharmapuri on june 18 last year and lodged in the punjab Central Jail on allegations of pornography, indecent speech, misuse of information technology, and use of a forbidden processor.

Following many complaints, the chennai Metropolitan police Commissioner issued an order to detain him under the Cyber Law Act on July 5 of last year. The chennai High court recently overturned the order. In this scenario, babji Madan's bail petition was dismissed by the chennai primary session yesterday. As a result, babji madan filed a bail petition before the chennai High Court.

Judge G. Jayachandran was assigned to hear the plea. madan was then imprisoned for the past ten months, and he contended that he should be allowed bail because the thuggery statute against him had been struck down by the High Court. Following this, the police's cyber crime unit ordered madan to file a response within 10 days or the case would be delayed.
