Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah, a former mp from narasapuram and a Kapu leader, has long since left andhra pradesh politics. In any of the political parties, he has virtually no supporters. Yet, after another Kapu strongman, mudragada padmanabham, withdrew his agitation for Kapu reservations, Jogaiah has been attempting to gain attention by taking up the cause of the Kapus. Jogaiah, who earlier served as a minister under the N T Rama Rao administration, founded Kapu Samkshema Sena and has been offering unasked political counsel to Jana Sena party president and power star Pawan Kalyan.

While rumours of a possible coalition between the Jana Sena party and the telugu desam party ahead of the 2019 assembly elections in andhra pradesh has sparked hot debate in state political circles, Jogaiah has sought to intervene and offer Pawan some advice. The Kapu leader warned the Jana Sena party chief not to fall into the trap of the ruling ysr congress party and make hasty judgments in an open letter. "Rather than allying with other parties, the YSRC leaders are challenging Pawan to run alone in the upcoming elections to prove his popularity," he said.

Pawan, according to Jogaiah, should not respond emotionally and fight the polls alone. "You must make strategic decisions. To win the elections, the tdp and the bharatiya janata party must form an alliance. "There's no need to respond to YSRC leaders' challenges and fall into their trap," he stated. According to Jogaiah, the YSRC leaders' challenges to the tdp and Jana Sena are part of a larger conspiracy. "They're attempting to agitate Pawan." He must proceed with caution, ensuring that the anti-incumbency vote does not split. He asserted, "It is his obligation."
