Similar to how telugu producers announce box office figures to entice fans, the streaming behemoth Netflix also publishes a list of the most popular films, and if a fan can't find their favourite film, a dispute ensues. That's what occurred to "RRR" fans recently when the OTT platform revealed a list of the most popular films and tv shows in english and other languages over the course of the first 28 days.

Many would anticipate the movie to be among the Top 10 Non-English Top Viewed films globally in 2022, despite the fact that rrr debuted at the top of the charts in nearly 60 countries after its Netflix release and how the campaign Netflix ran today led to reaching "The Academy." But although Troll is ranked first, All Quiet on the Western Front is fourth, Below zero is eighth, and My Name Is Vendetta is tenth, rrr is not on the list. Fans are heavily troll Netflix on social media in outrage about this.

However, the truth is that rrr did not gain widespread acclaim until it was made available on Netflix, which means that as time went on, Western audiences began to favour the movie, making it unlikely that it would receive any shocking viewing time. The audience may have chosen it on the first launch everytime they visited the app, but it has nonetheless held the top spot in numerous nations. If not, we'll have to wait and see what Netflix has to say regarding RRR's absence from these charts.
