The andhra pradesh government unveiled a new law two weeks ago that would establish a Special Security Group to guard the chief minister and his family. The APSSG insurance would be given to the cm and his family under the proposal that was made to the state Legislative Assembly.

The government will publish a gazette notification as soon as the governor signs off on this law. As soon as possible, enhanced protection will be given to jagan Mohan Reddy's two daughters who are attending university in London. This measure would also provide extra protection for his mother YS Vijayamma.

A special protection group (SPG) of the Union government, which offers security and protection to prominent VVIPs around the nation, will serve as a model for this special security unit. In light of recent political events in the state, it is a known fact that the state police recently stepped up protection for jagan Mohan Reddy. The vigilance wings are now preparing to increase the CM's and his family's security and protection. Consequently, the government decided to establish a unique security unit.

A cutting-edge training facility will be established to provide training to the SSG soldiers, according to ap home minister Taneti Vanita's previous announcement. This covers the close-quarters protection provided while travelling by car, train, plane, or any other mode of transportation. It also covers the locations of events, engagements, residences, or rest stops, and it includes ring-round teams, isolation cordons, the sterile zone surrounding the podium, and access control to the person or members of his/her immediate family.

In a recent press interview, Vanita stated that every ministry and department of the state government, as well as every local or other authority and every civil authority, shall be obligated to assist the director or any member of the group whenever necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to that member of the SSG.

According to the home minister, SSG is additionally protected by a law that prohibits any legal action being taken against the organisation or any of its members who have been given authority or obligations by this Act.
