Parliament security breach: Charges under anti-terrorism...

Four people who are accused of smashing into parliament security were placed on a seven-day police remand by a delhi court on Thursday, december 14. The police claimed that this incident resembled terrorist activity when they introduced the four defendants, Neelam Azad, Amol, Sagar Sharma, and Manoranjan D, in Delhi's patiala house Court. The police had asked the judge for a 15-day remand. In response, the court assigned remand attorneys to Manoranjan, Amol, Sagar, and Neelam. Several attorneys had requested permission from the court to voluntarily represent the accused and had the power of attorney signed.
A police case has been filed against the defendant under the IPC and UAPA sections.
The defendants were questioned by the judge if their relatives had been notified of their arrest. Everybody said "yes." The attorney for delhi police stated that in response to the deputy director of parliament house security's complaint, they had filed a case under the IPC and UAPA. Sagar and Manoranjan, according to the police, were among those who had obtained permits for the parliament Gallery before jumping into the house and using a color bomb concealed in their shoes. This event bears similarities to acts of terrorism. The attorney for delhi police stated that we may request remand for a maximum of 30 days in the UAPA case.

On social media, the accused had started a Bhagat Singh fan club. Lalit Jha, another accused in the case, is evading capture. According to the police, the suspects purchased shoes from lucknow and, by creating a space inside of them, concealed a canister that holds toxic gas.
