On Friday, a cab on the major route between Jammu and srinagar tumbled into a canyon, killing at least ten passengers. The incident took place close to the Ramban region. As soon as word of the accident was received, a team from the local police, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and the civil Quick Response Team (QRT) of Ramban arrived to the scene, according to news agency ANI.

Officials said that on Friday, an SUV in the Ramban region of Jammu-Srinagar district went off the national highway and plunged into a canyon, killing ten passengers.
 
Around 1.15 am, they added, the car, travelling from srinagar to Jammu, plunged into a 300-foot canyon in the district's Battery Cheshma region.
 
The officials said that ten persons had passed away. Personnel from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the police are there.
 

According to authorities, ten passengers' remains had been found under persistent rain.
 
Among the dead, they said, were the driver of the vehicle, Balwan Singh (47), of Amb Ghrotha in Jammu, and Vipin Mukhiya Bhairagang (23), of West Champaran in Bihar.
