Former chief minister and president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), K. chandrasekhar Rao, will visit many telangana districts on march 31 to check on crops drying out from a shortage of irrigation water, meet with farmers who are concerned about the drought, and attempt to reassure them. Rao, also known as kcr, is scheduled to tour the districts of Jangaon, Suryapet, and Nalgonda.

After inspecting the farms in Rajanna sircilla district on Thursday, former minister and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao said that the policies implemented by the congress administration were causing great suffering for the state's farmers.

According to him, the state's drought was caused by the present congress administration rather than by the elements or the passage of time.

KCR chose to visit the district amid his party's ongoing struggles following its loss in the most recent assembly elections.

Senior politician and party general secretary K. Keshava Rao, along with his daughter and hyderabad Mayor Vijayalaxmi Gadwal, decided to rejoin the congress on Friday, which came as a great shock to the BRS.

After meeting with the congress officials, Kadiyam Srihari, a prominent BRS leader, and MLA, and his daughter Kadiyam Kavya, who chose not to run as a BRS candidate for the warangal Lok Sabha constituency, received an invitation to join the party.

Former deputy chief minister srihari stated he will decide in a few days.

Five current MPs, one MLA, and several more leaders have previously defected to the congress or bjp from the BRS.

In the meantime, BRS leaders were informed by K.T. Rama Rao that key figures like srihari and Keshava Rao were quitting the party due to hard circumstances.

As they go from the celebration, they are voicing displeasure. I defer to their experience. Time will respond to them, he added, noting that although party officials are departing, cadres are sticking with it.

He gave the cadres his word that he would personally oversee their work.

"I intend to target the employees who have been loyal to the party and its leaders for a considerable amount of time," he declared, projecting confidence in his ability to win the local body elections.

In addition, he attacked former minister Mahender reddy and Chevella mp Ranjith reddy for quitting the party. He said that after KCR's daughter was jailed, they grinned and joined the congress, asking the BRS leaders to get revenge.

He said that he would not let Mahender reddy and Ranjith reddy back into the party if they returned and even touched KCR's feet.
