Voters in hyderabad and a few other districts, including Karimnagar, Khammam, and warangal districts, may receive free car services from bike taxi company Rapido as telangana gets closer to May 13, the day they will cast their ballots for the next Union administration.
 
Rapido will work with Telangana's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) as part of its national drive to promote voting on election day. On election day, it plans to assign 10 lakh "captains" to 100 cities. Some parts of hyderabad, including Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, and even Chevella, are represented in the Lok Sabha.

Participating at an event held at Hyderabad's LB Stadium, telangana CEO Vikas raj commended Rapido for their initiative and expressed optimism that the company's efforts will lead to a more inclusive voting process.
 
"It is laudable that Rapido is taking the initiative to give voters free trips during the general elections. It encourages democratic accessibility and voter involvement, according to Vikas Raj.
