Pahalgam Terror Attack

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, india took several major actions against pakistan, after which the neighboring country was stunned. Meanwhile, the indian Navy also showed its strength in the Arabian Sea, due to which pakistan is fearing war. Former pakistan High Commissioner to india and germany Abdul Basit ali has warned the Shahbaz government.

Abdul Basit ali said that india could launch military action against pakistan within a few days after the recent attack in Pahalgam. According to a report by The Express Tribune, he warned the Pakistani government to be prepared for instability in law and order in the coming times. He also mentioned India's previous actions after the 2016 uri and 2019 Pulwama attacks.

Referring to prime minister Narendra Modi's speech in Bihar, he said that attacks from across the border can happen anytime. He said, "Such attacks can happen within our border as well, after which india will claim that they have destroyed the launch pads and terrorist camps. Whether it happens in a week or 15 days, something will happen."

There is no diplomatic issue at present regarding the cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty. He said that terrorist actions can be expected from the Pakistani government in balochistan and other parts of the country. He said, "The Indus Water Treaty can neither be terminated, nor suspended, nor amended unilaterally."

Abdul Basit ali has urged the Pakistani government to approach the World Bank, the mediator and guarantor of the Indus Water Treaty, and prepare a strong diplomatic response. Accusing India, he said, "India is not fulfilling its international obligations. This is a big deal for the world's largest democracy and its aspirations to get a seat in the United Nations Security Council."
