Iran on saturday (07 June, 2025) strongly criticized the travel ban imposed by US President donald trump, which also includes Iran. Iran said that this ban shows hatred against Iranians and Muslims. In this context, Iran's Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on the social media platform X. The statement quoted a senior official as saying, "Banning the entry of Iranian citizens on the basis of religion and citizenship not only shows the deep hatred of the US decision-makers towards the Iranian people and Muslims, but it is also a violation of international law."
America made these allegations against Iran
The US has imposed sanctions on more than 30 people and companies. It alleges that these people are part of a "banking network" linked to iran, which has done money laundering of billions of dollars.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman said this
According to a Reuters report, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghai said, "These new sanctions by the US are illegal and violate international law. They show that the US government continues to hold enmity against the Iranian people."
US President trump imposed a ban on these 12 countries
It is worth noting that US President trump has completely banned people from 12 countries from coming to the US. These include Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Some countries like Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, turkmenistan and venezuela have been put under certain restrictions. It will be difficult to give visas to people from there due to staying in the US for a long time or not cooperating with the police.
Why did the white house take this decision?
The white house said these steps were taken because of the Taliban in Afghanistan, terrorism from iran and Cuba, and rising illegal immigration from Haiti.
