Iran-Israel War: Amid the Iran-Israel conflict, AIMIM mp Asaduddin Owaisi has expressed concern over the safety of 1,595 indian students (including 140 medical students) stranded in iran and 183 pilgrims stranded in Iraq.
Amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict in the Middle East, AIMIM mp Asaduddin Owaisi has drawn attention to an important issue. He informed through a tweet on saturday that 1,595 indian students are stranded in iran, out of which 140 medical students are studying at Tehran University. Apart from this, 183 indian pilgrims are also stranded in Iraq.
Owaisi said that he has contacted Joint Secretary (PAI) of the Ministry of External Affairs anand Prakash and has also shared full information of all the Indian citizens stranded there. He has also informed Foreign minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has appealed to immediately start the operation to evacuate indian people from Iran. Owaisi has also appealed to the Chief Minister's office of telangana for the safe return of students and pilgrims belonging to Telangana.
