US-Iran Talks: Iran has made it clear that it is ready for talks with America, but it wants a guarantee of respect and security. Along with this, America and Western countries will also have to step back from their old attitude. Iran says that if the talks are to be successful, then trust and responsibility will have to be given priority instead of military threats and sanctions.
Iran's Foreign Minister, Syed abbas Araghchi, has said that his country is ready to start talks with America again, but for this, the talks should be based on respect and dignity. He clearly said that America will first have to change its behavior and give assurance that it will not launch any military attack during the talks.
Araghchi said in an interview with French newspaper Le Monde, 'Diplomacy is a two-way street. Breaking the talks, and military action was initiated by America. Therefore, it is now necessary that America accepts its mistake and ensures that it will not launch a military attack during any future talks.' He said that a diplomatic contact channel is being established between America and iran with the help of some friendly countries and mediators.
Abbas Araghchi also said that Iran's nuclear sites have suffered a lot of damage in the US attacks, and iran has the right to ask for compensation for this loss. He said, 'If any country claims that it has destroyed the peaceful nuclear projects related to energy, medicine, agriculture, and development of another country, then it is a serious mistake. '
Abbas Araghchi stressed that Iran's nuclear program is completely under the supervision of the international Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and no weapon-related activity has been found in it. He said - 'These are not just buildings, it is the scientific capability and desire of an entire nation. It has been clearly stated in the IAEA reports that no direction of weapon production was seen in Iran's nuclear program. He warned that if the US or european countries impose further sanctions or military threats, it will cause serious damage to diplomatic efforts.
On the suggestion of three european countries to restart the process of sanctions under the 2015 nuclear deal, Araghchi said that taking such a step would be like launching a military attack against iran, and this would also end Europe's role. Let us tell you that on june 13, israel attacked iran and killed many senior military officials and nuclear scientists. On june 22, the US also attacked Iranian nuclear sites, which is a violation of the United Nations Charter and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). On june 24, US President donald trump announced a unilateral ceasefire on behalf of Israel.
