Stop taking Painkiller it can cause heart attack...
Many of us bring medicine from the medical store for headache, stomach or leg pain, but perhaps you do not know that a very common painkiller can damage your heart. If you are also consuming this pain killer medicine, then know its disadvantages.
If you think that the risk of heart attack is due to high cholesterol, high blood pressure or blood clot formation, then this news will open your eyes. In fact, in a research done on the pain reliever ibuprofen, it has been found that it is the most commonly used medicine in pain and it harms the heart the most.
Experts say that a small tablet of ibuprofen is easily available without a prescription at the medical store and is used by everyone for back pain to toothache. These are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs which include naproxen, sulindac, diclofenac and many more.
A study published in the british Medical Journal found that ibuprofen increased the risk of heart attack by 97 percent. Dr William Grossman, director of the Center for Prevention of heart and Vascular Disease at UCSF, explained the risk that ibuprofen, such as Advil, Motrin or ibuprofen, worsens existing high blood pressure.
The doctor says that it can also directly damage the kidney i.e. nephrotoxicity, due to which the problem of heart attack or stroke increases rapidly. Remember that high blood pressure puts so much pressure on the walls of your arteries that it causes great damage to the heart.
