Swara Bhasker Celebrates Rakshabandhan: Brother Ishaan's role is very important in Swara Bhaskar's life. He was her support in the most difficult times. On the special occasion of Rakshabandhan, swara bhaskar is sharing old memories related to this festival with amar Ujala.
Swara bhaskar is currently winning the hearts of the audience with her outspoken style in the reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Panga'. In the show, she is also bringing out some aspects related to her relationships and life. In such a situation, it was natural to remember the lovely relationship with her brother ishaan on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. In a special conversation with amar Ujala Digital, Swara Bhaskar has shared her lovely relationship with her brother, old memories related to Rakshabandhan.
My brother ishaan and I must have been 13-14 years old then. It was Rakshabandhan, I tied a rakhi to him with love, and in return, he proudly extended the same 20 rupees towards me. He had borrowed that money from me a few days back. At that time, I hesitated for a moment... felt a little angry, a little like laughing. I thought, what kind of a gift is this? But now, when I remember that moment, a smile comes on my face. Those 20 rupees might have seemed trivial then, but now it seems that they also contained the innocent understanding of a brother and a small feeling of fulfilling responsibility. Childhood festivals are like this... simple, lovely, and always memorable.
Ishaan is not only my younger brother, but now he is also my manager. In a way, he has also become my boss; he handles all my contracts, professional work, and meetings. The relationship between us is very deep. As deep as our friendship is, our arguments are also as intense. Sometimes there is a conflict over some work, and sometimes we pull each other's leg without any reason. If there is anyone in the world who is most troubled by me, it is my brother. But he also cares for me the most. The childishness between us is still the same as it was years ago, and this is the most special thing about our relationship.
Yes, it has happened, and it was very fun. Last year, I sent a Rakhi to ishaan in Indonesia, where he lives now. The box contained a mauli, rice, and sweets along with the Rakhi. When the package reached the customs office of Indonesia, they did not understand what all this was. They opened the packet and asked if we were sending rice seeds? They did not understand the concept of Rakhi. The result was that ishaan took four hours at customs. He was repeatedly telling me not to send Rakhi from now on, this is a punishment. This time, when he came to Delhi, I had already packed the Rakhi and given it to him and told him to open it only on the day of Rakhi. But he turned out to be so greedy that he ate the sweets given with the Rakhi as soon as he reached Indonesia.
I especially want to tell brothers that Rakhi is a sacred relationship based on love and protection. But this protection should never turn into control. Every sister's life should be made by her own decisions, not by anyone's orders. Every girl has the right to live her dreams. Her yes and no are as important as anyone else's. A brother's job is not only to protect his sister from the outside world, but also to increase her self-confidence. He should support her, not impose his views on her. I want every brother to respect his sister's decisions and give her the freedom to move forward. This is the real protection.
