What makes my kid get angry so easily?

Anger is a common, strong emotion. But many kids strive to understand the difference between angry emotions and aggressive behavior.

Nobody likes to feel mad, but we all encounter the emotion from time to time. Most parents find themselves querying what to do about tantrums and angry behavior. Most children outgrow this form by kindergarten. For children, anger problems often follow other mental health conditions, including ADHD, autism, and obsessive-compulsive ailment. Heredity and other biological factors are thought to play a role in anger/aggression. The environment is also one of the reasons as well.

What step do we need to take to teach my kid to control his anger?

Speaking about feelings often and over time helps children learn to understand their feelings better. Anger rules should focus on behaving respectfully toward others. Kids need to know relevant ways to deal with their anger. Preferably of being told, “Don’t hit your brother,” teach what they can do when they feel frustrated. Say, "Next time, use your words" or "Walk away from him when you feel angry." It’s normal for children to struggle to handle their anger at times. But, with your leadership, your child's skills should improve. When kids struggle to get their temper under control, or their anger problems seem to be getting worse, it's important to seek professional guidance.
