The television newsreader turned serial actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, who shot to fame with her stint with Puthiya Thalaimurai channel as a newsreader and her acting entry with Kalyanam mudhal Kadhal Varai aerial, is on cloud nine. The actress, who debuted in films recently with Karthik Subbaraj's production Meyaadha Maan, has been committed to multiple projects.
The latest addition to her kitty is the upcoming political satire, Pugazhendhi Enum Naan. This movie bankrolled by Axees Film Factory which produced the hit Maragatha Naanayam earlier this year will have the promising hero Arulnithi playing the lead and will be directed by hard-hitting maker Karu Pazhaniappan, known for his fiery views and has delivered different flicks so far.
It must be noted that, post the success of Meyaadha Maan, the actress was signed to play the lead role in Karthi's next flick directed by Pandiraj, and also as the second heroine in Vijay Sethupathi starrer Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame Gokul directorial Junga, which has Sayyeshaa as the main female lead.
