Also, dhanush completely ignored music composer Anirudh and moved on and that was the root cause initially. However, things never blown out and even after that aishwarya and dhanush were together, and they were seen in public events as a couple. An individual close to the pair reveals the events leading up to this point. According to an actress who is also a colleague of the couple, "Dhanush is a hard worker. Anybody who knows him understands he prioritises his profession over everything else. His business demands - travelling between locations and outdoor movie shooting - have weighed heavily on his family situation on numerous occasions."

Another source said, "Anyone else who knows dhanush knows that he is a very reserved individual. Even with his closest pals, he keeps his personal life private. You have no way of knowing what's going on in his head. He's gone out and signed a new picture whenever he's had difficulty with Aishwaryaa or anything that's caused them to fight. It almost appeared like he'd have his profession to distract himself from his deteriorating relationship, which was clearly having a toll on them as well."
