Dasara focuses on childhood friends Dharani (Nani), Vennela (Keerthy Suresh), and Suri (Dheekshit Shetty) and is set in the 1990s in the small village of Veerlapally. Although dharani loves Vennela, Suri is on her thoughts. Veerlapally residents' livelihoods are focused on coal mining and Silk Bar. What happens when Dharani's life takes an unexpected turn when local politics and passion collide? How dharani and vennela fall in love with one another forms the core of the film's story.

After Ante Sundaraniki, nani is back on the big screen. It demonstrates how easily he transitions between various roles. His function in dasara couldn't have been more dissimilar. nani maintains his persona throughout the entire scene, breathing it. He's fortunate that it has the ideal balance of action, humor, and drama. He executes each one flawlessly. Every time they show, the action blocks are performed with incredible intensity. 

The only issue with this is that despite all the good, the character doesn't advance to the next stage. It is a role that is honestly done and deserving of all the praise, but it also lacks iconic appeal. With dasara, Keerthy suresh also gets a major transformation. She is excellent as well and gets along well with Nani. She plays a crucial role in the story and excels whenever the chance presents itself.
