'Work is being done on war footing'

Public Works Department minister in delhi government Atishi has informed by tweeting that as soon as the water level in yamuna has started receding, PWD has started removing water, cleaning the roads and opening them for traffic.ISBT and Bhairo Marg are now open for traffic. PWD is working on a war footing to ensure that roads and traffic are restored at the earliest.

'Delay in deployment of NDRF, Army'

Minister Atishi said that there is good news that the water level of yamuna is falling. But if NDRF and army had come on time, delhi would not have had to face so much flood. Atishi alleged that all the water from haryana side has been released towards Delhi. Because of which this situation has become in Delhi. He asked why the water from Hathini Kund barrage was not released towards UP and Haryana.
