According to rumours spreading on social media, the ysr congress party is expected to experience yet another setback in the nellore district, embarrassing the party's leadership. According to sources, Nallapureddy prasanna Kumar reddy, a senior YSRCP politician and former minister, has reportedly told his supporters that he may leave the party because he isn't being treated with respect. 

Anam Ramanarayan reddy, kotamreddy sridhar reddy, and Mekapati Chandrasekhakr reddy, three MLAs from nellore, had already rebelled against the YSRCP and risked suspension from the party for doing so during the MLC elections. prasanna is reportedly taking the same route right now. Since 2012, he has been travelling with party leader and chief minister Y S jagan Mohan reddy and has shown unwavering commitment to the party.

However, according to reports, prasanna has felt ignored lately. After jagan took office in 2019, he anticipated being appointed to the cabinet but was rejected. He was not given a position in the government, not even in the second reshuffle. On the other side, the former minister is reportedly furious that the party leadership leaked to the media that kovvur would not be giving him the YSRC ticket for the upcoming elections because of his subpar performance.
