Energy minister G. jagadish reddy said on tuesday that all 196 artisans will be reinstated after having their employment terminated for taking part in a strike called by the unions representing Ittehad electricity Contract Employees and telangana Vidyut Employees on april 25.
AIMIM mla for malakpet Ahmed Abdullah Bala, Transco and Genco Chairman and Managing director D prabhakar Rao, SPDCL CMD G Raghuma reddy, and members of artisan unions were present when the minister made the announcement at the Secretariat. He encouraged the union leaders to avoid strikes in the future since they would disrupt the state's electricity supply.

On april 25, more than 23,000 craftsmen employed by several State power companies embarked on an indefinite strike in support of their demands, and the power utility management fired 196 artisans. On the promise that all of the fired craftsmen would be restored, the unions called off the walkout the next day. The Energy minister delivered a statement in this respect, honouring the promises made to the union leaders.

He previously stated his outrage that prime minister Narendra Modi is not managing the government for the people, but rather for a small group of individuals.  It was discovered that the cancellation of Rs. 2,000 notes was a result of feudal policies intended to keep people in poverty.  Why is it not made public if there is a profit to be made by removing the large currency notes?  The Union Finance minister has questioned why the prime minister is not responding to demonetization after criticising the lack of the Prime Minister's picture at the ration shop.  He complained that by placing the reserve bank of india (RBI) in the forefront, people's eyes were being blinded.
