On Monday, kalvakuntla taraka rama rao (KTR), a minister for telangana and the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), criticised prime minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission. On the occasion of gandhi Jayanti, certain leaders are sitting in delhi and yelling out "Swachh Bharat," "Swachh this," and "Swachh that," according to BRS minister KTR. There won't be much labour associated with it, though. There will only be programmes for taking photos and sometimes honouring gandhiji for name sake.

"However, keeping Gandhi's views of Swachta in mind, we have taken up Swachh telangana," he continued. Earlier on Friday, prime minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to participate in a nationwide cleanup effort on october 1 at 10 a.m., stressing that every action counts towards Swachh Bharat.

The prime minister took part in the Swach Bharat initiative himself and met Ankit Baiyanpuriya, a social media superstar who had undertaken a 75-day hard challenge to instill a culture of fitness among young people. In a video posted by PM Modi on his X page, participants in the Swachh Bharat campaign talked about fitness and cleanliness. "Ankit Baiyanpuriya and I focused on swachhata today like the country did! Beyond only hygiene, we included wellness and fitness in the mix as well. The video's description said, "It's all about that Swachh and Swasth Bharat feeling.

Swachh Bharat, according to PM Modi, is the common duty of all indian people, and public engagement is crucial to achieving this goal. He had encouraged everyone to volunteer one hour on sunday at 10 a.m. to keep the nation clean and work towards a better future. On october 1, leaders from all across the nation participated in the 'Shramdaan for Cleanliness' programme as a part of the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign.
