In the Rudawal police station area of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, there was an altercation between the youths of two communities late on thursday evening. After the altercation, the youths of one community gathered and reached the colony of the other community and created a ruckus.

It is alleged that after creating a ruckus, the statue of baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar installed in the colony was damaged. When people saw the statue damaged on friday morning, the people of the community gathered on the spot.

Ram Singh, a resident of village Nibhera, lodged an FIR in the police station regarding the damage to the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar and said that around 15 to 20 youths came to our colony on thursday evening at around 8:30 pm. All the people had sticks in their hands. He alleged that while pelting stones, the statue of baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar installed in the colony was vandalized. Among them were about 15 people from the village including Arun, Kanha, Sonu, Bhanu, Sethi, Hemant. people from other communities had reached the colony with sticks in their hands.

When the people of the colony saw the statue of baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar damaged, many people from the community gathered at the spot. After that the police was informed about the incident. The police reached the spot and pacified the matter by explaining to the people. The police has covered the statue of baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar with a cloth and the accused are being searched for.

ASP Hariram Kumawat said that last night there was an altercation between the youths of two communities in Nibhera village. This morning, information was received that the hand of the statue of some great man was found in a broken state there. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and information was taken from the people. A person has given a report.
