After the collapse of the old and dilapidated bridge, many questions have arisen about its condition. Now the government has claimed that Rs 8 crore was sanctioned for the reconstruction of this bridge. But shiv sena (Uddhav thackeray faction) mp sanjay raut has shared a letter of the then Public Works minister Ravindra Chavan on social media, which mentions the approval of only Rs 80 thousand for the repair of the bridge.

sanjay raut wrote on the social media platform X, "The bridge collapsed in the Indrayani river and at least 40 people were swept away. It is being said that Rs 8 crore was sanctioned for this bridge. See this letter of the concerned minister - either the minister signed in his sleep or the public is being fooled. This is Fadnavis' rule, everything goes!"
After Raut brought the letter to light, political allegations and counter-allegations are expected to intensify regarding the bridge accident. sanjay raut said, "Yesterday the bridge collapsed in Maval and at least 50 people were washed away. My question to ajit pawar is- you are the guardian minister of that district. For years you have been proud and arrogant about the fact that you are the guardian minister of that district. You say that I and pune district cannot be separated. So will you take responsibility for this accident as the guardian minister or will you shrug it off?" He further said, "Ajit Pawar roams around with the local mla Sunil Shelke. He invested a lot of money in his election. Even after so many years as the guardian minister, he could not build a bridge worth one or two crore rupees. The guardian minister remains asleep in such small works, but is fully alert in the works of big builders, metro projects and big contractors."

sanjay raut asked, "Who is responsible for the people who died yesterday? Ajit Dada Pawar should tell this. The bridge collapsed, people were swept away, died, but ajit pawar did not say anything since then. Usually he speaks with great enthusiasm. Now does he not have any responsibility? Guardian minister, where are you roaming? What are you doing?"
Raut said, "Ajit Pawar is as much guilty for yesterday's incident as the chief minister and Public Works minister of that time. A case of culpable homicide should be registered against them. ajit pawar does the work of peeling onions with his nose, but when people are losing their lives, will you not take moral responsibility? Will you not say that you made a mistake?"
