Jaishah said the IPL series has become world-famous in just 15 years and the IPL competition is ahead of the world-famous english Premier League, Major League baseball (MLP), and National basketball Association (NBA). It featured eight teams when the IPL was launched in 2008. The eight teams, namely chennai Super Kings, mumbai Indians, kolkata Knight Riders, rajasthan Royals, royal challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, delhi Capitals, and punjab Kings, are expected to receive around Rs 3,000 crore for the year 2023-2027.Cricket experts say that pakistan, which has started the PSL series with india as its rival, will understand that it cannot touch IPL at any time.
