Smriti Mandhana who is an indian cricket player got her first jab of Vaccine done. Since coronavirus is spreading like wildfire all the people are getting vaccinated, likewise, indian cricket player Smriti Mandhana also got her first jab of Vaccine. On tuesday she shared a picture of her while getting vaccinated with her fans on instagram with the caption 'Please stay safe and get yourself#Vaccinated. In the picture, She is wearing a sky blue top and black pants with a simple ponytail and protected herself from Virus with two masks. She is the first person to get vaccinated among the present square of indian female cricket players.

Board of control for cricket in India(BCCI) named smriti as Best women's of international cricket in 2018. In december 2018, the international cricket Council (ICC) awarded her with the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Award for the best female cricketer of the year.

Smriti Mandana family is also closely associated with cricket. Her father and brother used to play cricket at the district level. she was inspired by them and choose cricket as her career. “The indian government has opened vaccination for every person above 18 so the players can take their first dose. But the second dose is the question here and while the bcci is looking at working closely with england and wales cricket Board to ensure players can get a second dose in the UK if that is not approved by the UK government, we will have the vaccine taken from india for the second dose. Let’s see how that works out in the coming days,” a bcci official advised ANI.
