Mangalavaaram is set in a tiny community where individuals are being murdered in inexplicable ways every Tuesday. A cop (Nanditha Swetha) arrives to investigate the murder, and the story shifts back into the past when we meet Shailu (Payal Rajput), a country belle. Her falling in love with a school teacher (Ajamal Aamir) and being cheated causes Shailu's life to spiral out of control, which is also related to the fatalities in the hamlet. To understand Shailu's past and the twist behind these killings, you must see the film in theatres.

Ajay Bhupathi's latest thriller, Mangalavaaram, has a very distinct selling point. The film touches on a subject that few would seek to use as the backdrop for a telugu film. The plot revolves around Payal Rajput's character having a sexual issue and how it ties into the murder case. ajay Bhupathi's film is set in a little village where things go awry and the naive inhabitants have no idea what is going on. ajay bhupathi narrates the whole first half, highlighting the fatalities that occur every tuesday and how the locals begin to hunt for the perpetrator.

After Payal's character is established, the film enters a flashback style in the second half. The condition she has and how the character of Shailu deals with problems in her life are boldly displayed. To portray such a character, one must be brave, and Payal Rajput's bravery is the greatest element of the film. Payal's innocence, aggressive gestures, and emotional outbursts in tight situations demonstrate her acting talent. Payal once again demonstrates that she is a director's actor, and if properly nurtured, she may be a valuable addition to the business.

In her character, Nandita swetha overacts for no apparent reason. ravindra Vijay from the family man has a vital part, and he is excellent. The remainder of the cast has performed admirably in their individual parts.

Mangalavaaram is incredibly absorbing in many ways, thanks to the fantastic score by Ajaneesh Lokanth of Kantara fame. He brings the story to life with a mind-blowing background soundtrack and keeps the audience engaged until the finish. Managalavaram is a historical drama with stunning production design. The camera work highlighting the rustic rural views is excellent.

Ajay Bhupathi gets things mostly correct, although it takes a long time to get to the film's primary conflict point. The whole first half is dedicated to introducing people who will play minor roles later in the screenplay. If the timeframe had been cut by ten minutes and Payal's character had been introduced in the pre-interval block, the result would have been different. Mangalavaaram has a highly daring theme, and some people may not enjoy it. Though the plot becomes regular after a while, ajay bhupathi weaves his magic in the final half-hour, and the surprises he unleashes in the shape of a unique entrance at the climax are unexpected. The film's second half and climax are significant assets, but to enjoy it, one must sit through a solid but dragging first half.

Overall, Mangalavaaram has a distinct setting and is mostly well-narrated. payal rajput delivers a career-best performance and will astound you with her fearless personality. The twists and turns are terrific, and the great background soundtrack keeps you focused in this dark thriller, except for the dull first half.
