On Saturday, incumbent mla Koneti Adimoolam and her son suman met with minister Peddireddy amid uncertainty over obtaining a return ticket from Satyavedu. Both the father and son demonstrated humility by dropping at Peddireddy's feet, expressing their confidence in him. There are various videos on social media showing how deputy cm Narayan Swamy was mistreated by the YSRCP. In one video, PeddiReddy used vulgar language at the deputy cm, who was elected to the assembly from GD nellore (SC).

According to reports, the minister promised them that he would do his share, emphasizing that ticket distribution is ultimately chosen by leader Jagan. Photos of the mla and his son with Peddireddy have become popular on social media, prompting concern among educated Dalit people about the perceived display of subservience. The mla and his son's modest demeanor, standing before the minister with folded hands and presumably touching his feet, has received criticism, notably from upper-caste politicians who consider it a political ploy. In addition, the wife of a police constable from the Puthalapattu district has emerged as a contender seeking a ticket.

According to party sources, she sought to acquire a ticket in the previous election, but she withdrew at the last minute. Peddireddy is a significant political player in Chittoor's political dominance. Given that the tirupati Parliament has jurisdiction over three SC-restricted assembly seats - Gudur, Sullurpet, and Satyavedu - all current YSRCP MLAs and fresh contenders are vying for Peddireddy's favor.
