Today, Paramount revealed that on Thursday, May 22 at 2:00 PM (local time), they would be holding an IMAX Opening Day Fan event for their upcoming tom Cruise blockbuster Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning! Additionally, a 14x20 dual-sided special collector's print will be given to attendees.
 
They also encourage fans to get there early because there won't be any trailers or advertisements at these screenings. I'll say it again: there won't be any trailers or commercials, so as soon as 2 PM rolls around, the movie will begin, and you'll be in for the most exciting and action-packed trip of the year!  The sale of tickets for the private IMAX event will begin on Sunday, april 27 at 6 AM PST/9 AM EST.

In addition to participating IMAX box offices, third-party ticketing services including Fandango, and exhibitor websites and mobile applications, they can be bought at www.imax.com/missionimpossible.
 
Don't worry if you can't attend the IMAX Opening Day Fan Event; the official ticket sale for the movie's general release will begin on Monday!  

With a screenplay he co-wrote with Erik Jendresen (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One; Ithaca; Band of Brothers), McQuarrie directed the film.
 
On May 23, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will be released in cinemas and IMAX.
