A special team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) again reached the spot in Baisaran on wednesday with high-tech equipment. The NIA will do 3D mapping in the Baisaran Valley so that the entry-exit point of the terrorists can be accurately detected.
According to sources, 3D mapping will be done based on eyewitness statements recorded so far. This will provide concrete information about the entry and exit points of the terrorists. Information about the correct routes of escape of the terrorists will also be available through 3D mapping.
Earlier, on wednesday, the NIA team investigated the Baisaran Valley for about seven hours. The team was accompanied by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and forensic teams of kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir Police. Sources said that the NIA team went to the spot to collect evidence and investigate the facts.
The samples collected from the spot and the statements of the horsemen and other people working in Baisaran during interrogation will also be investigated. A radius of three kilometers around the Baisaran Valley is being searched so that clues can be found about the route of the attacking terrorists.
Let us tell you that on Tuesday, the NIA team recorded the statements of more than 100 people in the pahalgam police station. These include zipline operator Muzammil, who is accused of saying "Allah Hu Akbar" three times on hearing the sound of firing by the terrorists and sending the tourist away.
On April 22, terrorists brutally killed 26 tourists by firing indiscriminately at them in pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists, dressed in army uniform, first asked the tourists about their religion in Pahalgam's Byasaran Valley, checked their identity cards, and then shot them saying they were Hindus. Most of the 26 dead are tourists, while two are foreigners and two are local citizens.
About 14 people were injured in the attack. The Resistance Front (TRF), a group associated with the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, had earlier taken responsibility for this cowardly attack. However, later TRF clarified that it had nothing to do with the attack. It did not carry out this attack.
