Actor ravi Mohan and his wife aarthi decided to get a divorce after ending their 17-year marriage. Both of them have now filed a case in the chennai Family court seeking divorce. The case is pending. In it, aarthi ravi had demanded that he give her and her children Rs 40 lakhs per month. The court adjourned the hearing to june 12, seeking an explanation from ravi Mohan's side in the case. While the case is ongoing in the court, both ravi Mohan and Arthi ravi have been making statements on social media and accusing each other of a barrage of accusations. In this situation, actor ravi Mohan had filed a petition in the madras high court seeking a ban on Arthi and her mother sujatha Vijayakumar from making defamatory comments against him.
This petition came up for hearing today under the chairmanship of Justice Swaminathan. At that time, senior lawyers appearing for both sides, ravi Mohan and aarthi, assured that they would not make any comments in the future and said that they were ready to delete the comments they had already made. A request was also made to ban the publication of news about the two on social media. Accepting this, the judge ordered that both parties should refrain from publishing statements that make defamatory comments. He also advised both parties to delete the statements they had previously published in public. The judge also ordered that social media should be banned from discussing or publishing news about them.
