Telangana's film awards are back with a bang after a 14-year hiatus. The winners of the gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024, which are named after the revolutionary poet Gaddar, were formally announced by the telangana government. The awards honor excellence in feature films, performances, and technical skills, celebrating the best in telugu cinema until 2024.
 
At a press conference on May 29, which was attended by telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) Chairman dil Raju, panel member jeevitha Rajasekhar, and other dignitaries, jury chairperson jayasudha announced the coveted awards.  Jayasudha underlined the jury's total impartiality during the selection procedure, attesting that the winners were picked solely on the basis of their qualifications and free from outside bias or influence.
