Samantha Ruth Prabhu has also spoken out in favor of chinmayi Sripada after the singer's performance at the Thug Life song launch event went viral. samantha expressed her admiration for Chinmayi's singing ability on social media and questioned the singer's continued shadow ban, which she has endured for the last eight years.
 
Samantha posted a video of chinmayi doing her rendition of the song Muththa Mazhai from Thug Life, which features kamal haasan in the lead role.  Chinmayi provided the voiceover for the telugu and hindi versions of the song, while Dhee sang the original tamil version for the film Thug Life.

The South indian Cine, television Artistes and Dubbing Artistes Union (SICTADAU) expelled chinmayi in 2018.  This occurred following her advocacy for women who accused actor-politician Radha Ravi, the union's then-president, of sexual harassment.  She also expressed support for the women who contributed to the report of the hema Committee.  

Chinmayi is renowned for raising awareness of metoo issues in the motion picture business.  She commended the work of the women in cinema Collective (WCC) and the hema Committee team in an interview with india Today.  "The most important thing I want to say here is that hats off to WCC," she stated.  They joined forces to accomplish a significant task.  As of yet, no other industry has done so.  These open secrets in every industry are known to all.  In addition to the misuse of authority in numerous other areas, we are discussing sexual harassment and sexual abuse.
