Along with the joy of winning the trophy, there is also the sadness of losing the fans who supported them immensely. Due to this, it is said that RCB is likely to shift its base to another state in the next IPL season. The capacity of the audience at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is also low. Moreover, the management has come to the conclusion that it cannot withstand this pressure from the government. Therefore, there is a high chance that it may choose another city other than Bengaluru for the next season.

No RCB official has spoken about this at the moment. It is possible to shift its base to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, kochi in kerala o,r pune in Maharashtra. Even if the team's base is shifted to another place, it can retain the name royal challengers Bangalore. The bcci will give permission for it. IPL teams are not new to shifting their base. The punjab Kings have already done this. They shifted their base from Mohali to Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh. Despite shifting the team's base to Dharamsala, they kept only the name. There is an example of rajasthan Royals even playing the IPL away from their base in Jaipur.
