A startling occurrence from the Raichur district of karnataka has surfaced. On Saturday, a woman is accused of throwing her husband into the krishna river in an attempt to kill him. Luckily, the spouse got caught close to a rock and was able to swim. According to telangana Today, locals heard his shouts and quickly used a rope to rescue him.

The lady had requested her husband to snap a selfie at a bridge across the river in Raichur.  She abruptly shoved him into the river while he was snapping the selfie.  When the villagers saw the man swimming and clinging to a rock, they used a rope to save him. The husband responded, "I didn't jump-my wife pushed me," when residents asked him, "Why did you jump?"

There is a video of the rescue that has gone viral on social media. As three or four young men tug the rope from the opposite side, the man is shown in the video clinging to the rope as he approaches the shore and climbs up. The individual is known as Tatappa. Raichur district's Kadlur village, which borders Telangana's Narayanpet district, is home to the bridge across the krishna River.

Tatappa claimed it was an accident, but his wife said he was shoved into the river on purpose.  Locals stepped in, calmed the pair down, and contacted their parents as they continued to quarrel there.  Both were eventually returned to their homes. The pair tied the knot in april 2025. They became estranged after three months of getting married, and they have been at odds ever since. Tatappa claimed that this incident was caused by persistent conflicts.
